Abstract

The aim of this report is to aid and support the Samsø Energy Academy (henceforth “the Academy”) in reaching objective 3 as well as objective 1 of the Samsø 2.0 plan (see table 1). These two objectives address phasing out fossil fuels. Our report focuses on this transition in the transport sector. We identify the main stakeholders and ac- tors, and examine potential barriers and opportunities to the implementation of the transition towards fossil fuel free transport. The report is organised into the following sections; background information of Samsø and the Samsø Energy Academy; scope and purpose of our project; our findings; our analysis; and future developments.
