Abstract

The Energy Academy (EA) on the island of Samsø is a project organisation working with sustainable conversion. The overriding ambition for the EA is for Samsø to become fossil free in 2030, twenty years before the rest of Denmark We have a firm conviction that this is possible and that we will succeed as long as we strive towards untraditional partnerships. At the EA we make practitioners and theorists meet in order for the projects to be realised. We create untraditional partnerships between people, companies, organisations and authorities – we join the right people in order for a sustainable conversion to take place.
